I am sorry that you feel that cheating is going on I wouldn't have any idea how to cheat and I don't think any of Eric other fans do either We wouldn't want to or even need to. Eric has a large fan base not just in the USA but in a lot of other countries too. Flylady also promotes Eric and She also has a large fan base. He is a great singer and a wonderful person. We are just loyal and stay on top of the voting. I vote every hour, except when I am sleeping, and I know a lot of other fans that do the same We set our Flylady timers and go to our computers and vote. Many of us are Older people and some have children. Erics songs are family friendly and his voice is so sweet. He would not want cheating Eric has a pure heart. If he couldn't win fair He would not want to win at all. There is no cheating going on, it's just that we love Eric. So good luck in the contest and may the best singer win. I didn't realize there was another thread besides CallaLilly's -- so I'm going through to check it out.
I'd asked before if there even was a way to cheat -- but asked not to be told how if so. I really, HONESTLY don't think there is a way. I'm certain that this site experiences a new turbulance each month when someone comes from behind for a victory.
Personally, I'm very thankful to belong to such an amazing world-wide group of people who are genuinely honest, good, hard working people. Why cheat when you can have the great feeling of knowing it happened the way it did because of everyone's support? FLYLADY.COM
There's a couple of pages of posting under "Can we keep voting fair" & I invite anyone to read it to catch up on the additional support seen there for Eric.

Anyone can sing........ a few select can sing well, but the heart behind the sound just makes it absolutely amazing. When you can sing & touch other's hearts you truly have something special! This is what Eric has, a God given talent that reaches out so that you want to reach back. As I mentioned before, if you listen to Kellie she has the same gift.
It's not about fame, it's not about fortune but it is about freely sharing the blessing.

| Cheating? Are we back to that? There is no cheating. Once we found out (not yet 2 weeks ago) that there was a poll we started voting. There really is no such thing as cheating when it says "vote as often as your system allows" So no cheating! I even have 2 computers in my house and have only voted from one, when actually I could vote from both, which I am sure most people do! Just think what the results would look like if we had been voting from the begining, If we managed to vote like this in under 2 weeks! Being the loyal Eric Dodge fan that I am, I still would vote for whoever I thinked sounded best, and in my opinion (and everyone is entitled to have an opinion, that differs from others) Eric is the best. I had my daughter (who loves all music) listen to the 4 contestents without letting her see which was which and she also picked Eric, and I think she liked Shannon second best! I went to Jason's myspace page and listened to other songs. I think the wrong song was entered in this contest! He also is a great singer and I don't think "shotgun" shows that off like some others do! |

Here's a current poll where you can vote whether or not you think the voting should be re-done. No signing up or registration required. You can see the results, read comments & even post comments. The last time I viewed the results were 9 to re-do & 2 to leave it alone. Just thought I'd pass it along :-)

If the voting started all over again I don't think there would be any question about how the Flybabies feel about Eric. A good number of us belong to his group at Yahoo and we have been buying his CDs since we first heard him sing.

It's too bad that someone has to get on a forum to support Eric and bad mouth the voting. I don't think that Eric's fans would stoop that low and do that to Jason Coley.
PLEASE! Cheating - no. Sore loser - yes.
Go ahead and start the contest over again. Eric will have more votes, no doubt in my mind. |

I personally would like to reach out to Jason Coley & appologize for the attitudes of a few. Man, no doubt your fans want you to win.... You've got a great voice & some awesome songs. So long as those supporting you & claiming to promote you don't create a negative vibe around your name you'll become well known for your singing!! :-)
Kinda funny.... think of all the fans Eric has who now know Jason Coley & have heard the music. Many of us have even visited your website to listen to your music so in fact the NCS voting has brought you more attention than even just your current fan base.
