Well looks like "cheating" is being allowed here and it is pretty obvious that nothing is going to be done to stop it.
Anyone who has been voting here for Male Vocalist this month knows what I am talking about.
Funny how someone holding 78% can be knocked down to second place in a matter of 3 days should show you something is going on. It is not the fact that that person is loosing fans voting as we know for a fact he is not.
Instead it is being said that someone figured out that dial up users can reboot and re vote as often as they like and not wait the hour like the rest of us. Actually I have had to wait over an hour sometimes before I could vote again-
What are your thoughts on this?
Jason Coley is the winner in my book.

There's no 'cheating' going on here.
Eric just found out a few days ago that he was in this poll. Once Eric let his fans know that this was happening, we all began to vote. We all have been waiting over an hour to vote again.
There's plenty of us that think Eric Dodge is the New Country Star.

Eric has a huge following and when we finally found out he was in the contest we banded together. I know I personally can't even get in to vote once an hour, so it's awesome that you can.
You are entitled to your opinion that Jason is the winner. If you feel that strongly about it, get more people on board, increase his fan base and blow Eric out of the water.
Personally, if I were championing someone running against Eric I would want it to be a fair contest. In my opinion it wasn't a fair contest prior to this point because Eric didn't even know he was in the contest, and therefore couldn't tell his fans about it and we couldn't support him.
I will be appalled if I found out that any of Eric's fans were cheating, and I'm quite certain he would be too. So if you have any hard evidence of this, I urge you to bring it to the attention of the administration of this website.

I have been told it was brought to the attention of the administration and that some people have proof but I am trying to find out for myself what is the truth.
I would hope that there is no cheating going on but you gotta see our side too as all of a sudden the polls started changing and my question to the administrator would be also why did Eric not know he was included as we have known for quite a while Jason was in this poll.
Honestly I am very disappointed in this poll thing and will think twice before asking any artist I support to ask to be included.
I apologize if I spoke out of turn but I have been told my numerous people they have proof that there is(was) cheating going on.
Also I am now keeping record of when I vote as it seems like it is more then an hour-closer to two before I can vote but thought I forgot I just voted but have been told my other fans it is longer then an hour for them also.

There is no cheating going on. Advertising the poll on other fan websites is not cheating - utilizing myspace and other fan based forums is not cheating - there is no automatic voting - this poll was shared with a fan list of over 400,000 people. Also check the info at the top of the voting page:

If an artist is nominated their fans can vote - if they have 10,000 fans or 400, 000 fans - that is how many will vote. Who in the heck still has dial up anyway?
It is not a matter of one artist losing fans - it is a matter of fans finding out that their favorite artist is nominated |

I am an Eric fan and I only found out about the poll late last week. I have voted twice a day since then and consider that if dial-up fans want to pay for each reconnection then good on them. This is the header on the poll page

I am one of many many Eric Dodge fans. I love to listen to him sing. To keep everything fair I listened to all the clips. I really think that Eric is the best so I vote for him every time I think about it and my computer will let me. My Daughters son sets a timer so they can remember to vote. Wish everyone luck in the contest

 I am an Eric Dodge fan. I am also a mother of 3, a Sunday School teacher, and a Girl Scout Leader of 2 different troops. One thing I am NOT is a cheater. After hearing about Eric being in this contest (less than a week ago) I began voting for him every time I sat to check email. Eric has a huge fan base, from all over the world. Jason has his face on the NCS homepage, and an interview w/a big star. Eric didn't even realize he was in the contest. It is not our fault we were late out of the gate, but if you Jason fans have looked over your shoulders and been overtaken in the race, it is a sign of our love for Eric, and not of cheating! I wouldn't think you'd want your guy to win just because other fans weren't aware of the voting! Personally, I have read the voting page, and know I am within the rules of the game. I also took the time to listen to all 8 contestants, and am still certain that I am voting for my fave (I also voted for Kellie, not ever having heard of her before!). This Eric Dodge fan is a yankee from Boston...

It seems to me that the person that cheated was the one that entered Eric Dodge into this contest, but didn't bother to tell him that he was entered. Eric Dodge has a fan base all over the world & as soon as his fans found out about this contest, we went to work to vote for Eric as often as our individual systems will allow.

Hey All - Eric Dodge fan here (flybaby too). I also listened to Jason Coley as well.... I mean I already know Eric is amazing beyond words but this is a contest right?? Jason started out strong but when the lyrics hit I quickly realized that they weren't as family friendly as I demand for my family of 7.
I've only been able to vote about 5 times during the last several days since Eric sent out the email about this site. Thanks for letting us all know we can get on about every hour - I had not clue what the time out time even was only that I couldn't get back in 15 minutes later! -- yep... I tried LOL I'm thrilled Eric can see the support in his fan base though I'm sure it was difficult for Jason & his fans to have an unexpected turn.
Just wanted to send a shout out to this site as it gives these new and very talented people a chance to be heard that they otherwise may not have had. Now I know that if I see Jason's music I will still give it a try --- just not have it blasting when my children are home (until I've at least approved the lyrics first ;-)
Now off to vote --- btw Eric fans if you haven't listened to the ladies --- Kellie is not only very talented but her song is incredibly touching. AND I'm not just voting for her because we share the same name but because after listening to all 3 she was by far my favorite.
